THE CAREERS AND HIGHER EDUCATION MAGAZINE FROM THE INSPIRING FUTURES FOUNDATION

Spring 2010
Riding the Recession

Where could a career in
sports science lead you?

There might still be snow drifts outside but believe it or not the spring term is here. And with spring it means only one thing, preparing for exams!

So where do you start? Are you staring into an abyss of course notes or have you got a revision calendar all in order and ready to go? No matter where you're at we've brought back a popular piece we wrote last year that looks at the tips and tricks for successful revision.

When you think of Sport what do you see? Twickenham, Wimbledon, Arsenal? How about the millions of people working behind the scenes in professional sports careers to and help your favourite team succeed? This terms career feature looks at the professional careers you could be doing in sport and where they could take you.

Yes its revision time but what about after those exams? You could get a part time job, take a gap, learn some new skills or how about combining them all? The Year in Industry lets you work on a Gap year, earn some money, gain experience and enjoy the high life. Read all about it here.

Finally, you might have noticed some of our flyers about career experience events. These are great ways to meet professionals and understand your career and study options before you have to make those important decisions. We've lots of new courses coming up this spring so click here to see all that are on offer.

Don't forget you can always search our archive of past career features and if you want to contribute to a future edition of Careerscope we are always on the lookout for good writers, bloggers and images.
